How did the high school football season go overall?
“Overall I think this season went really well. We accomplished a lot together as a team, we set multiple school records. I also think we showed a lot of grit. We had a few injuries that had an impact, but with the leadership of the coaches and the seniors we pulled together as a team and had some of the juniors and sophomores step up.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I also play basketball at West Branch. As for workouts, even during football/basketball season I still train three times a week. As for the off-season, no days off, I go seven days a week. My goal is to gain 30 lbs before the start of football next season.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel like we will have another great season next year. We learned a lot last year from the coaches and the seniors' leadership and now it will be our turn to lead the way. We are a very tight group and I know the amount of work we will put in to make that success happen.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Alliance. They have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, plus they have a D1 talent in their QB Zurbrugg.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Again I have to say Zurbrugg from Alliance. He has a lot of similar qualities that we had with Dru DeShields last season.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love the opportunity to play college sports. I would play basketball or football given the opportunity. My goal is to become a teacher and a coach in the future.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I do have a NCSA recruiter. Last year, my freshman year, I was invited to Fairmont State by one of their assistant basketball coaches for a camp/workout. I got to tour their campus and all their facilities, it was a great experience.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I currently do not have any offers.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Just to Fairmont State last season.”

Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“My goal is to get as much exposure this upcoming off season. I’m planning on attending as many basketball/football camps as I possibly can.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college is Ohio State.”
