Q&A with Dublin Scioto linebacker Nevin Densel

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Not too bad, the record certainly didn’t reflect who we were. Played tough and to the end in every game and were much better than our record.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“Yes, I broke the school record for tackles in a season with 137 with it previously being 131.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“Our team played decently, we showed some flashes here and there but couldn’t finish the games out when we needed it most.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I think we tend to put our heads down when we give up a big play or something doesn’t go our way and we need to improve our body language. Opposing teams likely see it and just start attacking when we aren’t there mentally.”
