What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“As of late I have been in camp days at Centerville every Monday/Wednesday/Thursday. I also have been training at Enhanced U Beavercreek with Coach Powers.”
What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“My biggest improvement this off season has to be my route running. Transitioning from QB my whole life to a new position last year left tons of opportunities for growth, and route running was my main focus.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I think our team will contend for the GWOC championship, and hopefully make some noise in the playoffs this year as well.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“There is some unfamiliarity on our non-conference schedule I’m unsure of, but what Springfield has accomplished the last couple years is undeniable. I’m going to have to say the Wildcats until someone knocks them off.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Aaron Scott of Springfield. I look forward to our matchup. He is as good as it gets.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“That is the ultimate goal. I want to play football at the next level, but believe I would be capable of playing basketball as well.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have had talks with several schools during the open period. From Umass, West Virginia, Kent State, Charlotte, Western Michigan, etc.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Right now I would say more schools are watching me than recruiting me. I have some more to prove not only on the field this year, but the classroom as well. I have no doubt after the work I put in this year that someone will want the skill set I have to offer a team.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I got on the college trip trail early in my high school career with visits to Ohio State, Miami of Ohio, Bowling Green, South Alabama, Florida, and Kent State to name a few.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Possibly some more trips planned for July around our school schedule. I play basketball as well so I have time commitments there as well that prevent me from making as many camps as I would like to.”
Have you done any camps this off-season? How do you feel you performed?
“This summer we committed to our basketball program and we did several. I feel I performed really well. We have had 1 7vs7 so far at Ohio State so far which had several of the top recruits and teams in the state there. Humbly I believe I was one of the best receivers there and my performance would second that.”
Do you have any plans for camps ahead?
“Possibly visit some of the MAC colleges in Ohio if dates align with all of my school programs.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college is easy. I’m an Ohio boy. GO BUCKS. Florida Gators in a close second.”
