How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Pretty good, we're excited to play the season out and see where we can go! Close team, a lot of us have been playing together since youth football with the Lil Tigers.”
Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I'm hungry and always feel like I can improve in order to get where I, and we as a team, need to go.”
How do you feel your team has played?
“As a team I feel the same. There are always areas we can improve and work hard to get where we want to be to achieve our goals. This group wants to do what it takes to have a chance to be playing on that final weekend.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“We have great team chemistry, we want to continue to build that as every team does. Keeping focus in critical moments.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“To keep our composure and fight through it. There will be tough, critical moments against tough opponents. We have to remain focused and pull together when those situations happen.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I absolutely want to play college football and will be excited for an opportunity to keep playing and learning the game.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have received interest from Wooster, Mount Union, Geneva, Dayton, Allegheny, Robert Morris, Indiana State, John Carroll, Ohio Northern, Baldwin Wallace, Ohio Wesleyan, Denison, Ashland, St Vincent, Mercyhurst.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I've heard from Wooster, Mount Union, Geneva, Allegheny, Ohio Northern, Robert Morris St Vincent, and Dayton. They have all invited me for game day visits and coaches reaching out. They have all made me feel welcome and wanted.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I was at Ball State and Robert Morris last season. I've been to Mount Union, John Carroll, Geneva, Notre Dame College in Cleveland. I have game visits for Dayton, Mount Union, Ohio Northern, Wooster, Robert Morris, and St Vincent that I'm planning. It’s exciting and I'm looking forward to finding a home with coaches that care about me as a man, a student, and a football player.”
Do you have plans for game day trips?
“See above.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I enjoyed watching Ohio State play. Youngstown State's history was always intriguing to me with coaches from Springfield in Doug Phillips, Jim Tressel, and Bo Pelini from Mooney. Youngstown is such a great place to be for football.”
