“I feel my team can improve on being disciplined on the field, weight room, and in school. Just to stay focused and get to work.”

Have you been pleased with your performances?

How do you feel about the play of your team?
“I feel pretty good, we have a nice starting 11 who play both sides of the ball most of the time but that means we don’t have subs, so realistically I’m in between.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?

“I have talked to a good bit of coaches following my junior season including Penn, Arizona and some others.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Out of all the schools that have shown interest in me I’d say Penn has been recruiting me the hardest. I have been in contact with Coach Priore since the beginning of my football season this year.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I made a trip to Penn to watch them play their rival Princeton. It was a great experience and I loved everything about Penn.”

Q&A with Perrysburg linebacker Joseph Seney

How did/is everything going football wise as of late?
“Everything is going good football wise. I was able to come out and have a good season with my teammates and there is nothing I would rather do instead.”

What do you feel your team can continue to improve on going forward?
“What my team can improve upon this year is just development, we had a lot of young guys on the team. And because of this we had a lot of young guys come off the bench and that just starts to stack up. I feel as though next season we will be really good based off of our player development that we have had since the new coaching staff took over. We always find ways to develop, it’s just this year we were really young.”

Have you been pleased with your performances?
“Yes I was able to make 1st team all-league, 1st team district, all blade team, and district co-DPOY. But I plan on doing even better next year and help lead my team to an amazing season.”

How do you feel about the play of your team?
“I feel as if the play of our team was amazing, with not much experience we were able to have a good season. Everyone played their heart out there wasn’t anyone that was on that field that wasn’t in it for the team. And that’s very rare to find at this level.”

What are your sporting goals going forward as of now?
“My goal is to play division one football in college. But the most important thing is leading my team to a great season next year, one game at a time.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would like to play football in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve been invited to camps over the summer by a lot of Ivy League schools. But once the season started I haven’t talked to much, but I also understand they still have their seasons. And I’m also not a 5-star quarterback so my time will come.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I haven’t been recruited that much, but if I were to say one it would be Yale. I received the camp invite both by email and from the head coach. I’ve also received a photo back on August 1st from the head coach as well.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have gone to the camps over the summer, such as Yale, Harvard, UConn, and Navy. These were not official or unofficial visits but I did tour the campus on my own when I went.”

Do you have plans for game day trips?
“I do not.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I did have a favorite college team when I was younger. At first it was Ohio State but as I grew older it slowly became the Navy.”
