How did the high school football season go overall?
“Overall, our season was decent. We went 9-1 but lost in the first round of the playoffs. It was an improvement year for our program but not where we expected to finish.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Right now, I work out six days a week with my brother and do speed training on Saturdays. We also throw around two times a week. Whenever we get the chance really. I also plan on playing baseball in the Spring.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Next football season, we will be young but still experienced. Many returning guys on our defense will make us stronger on that side of the ball. On offense, it will take a bit of time to find our footing with only four returning guys and one on our offensive line. Based on our attendance in the weight room currently and the hard work everybody is putting in, this upcoming season is looking to potentially be my best year at Gilmour.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“The best team we play next year will probably be Villa Angela St. Joes (VASJ) or buckeye.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“The toughest player we will play is probably Bo Jackson from VASJ. He’s a very good player that will need to be contained.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I definitely plan on playing college football but I’m open to options for baseball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“So far, we’ve had Case Western express interest as well as Gannon University. Brown University also just came in to visit this past Thursday.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Case Western has shown the most interest and has been in contact with us the most.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not gone on any college trips yet and plan on visiting some soon.”
Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“See above.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up was easily Ohio State. Love watching them play on Saturdays.”
